The Cura Tub Heater was born the way our children were: in water, out of a need we couldn't ignore. As a husband and wife team, we have worked to solve this glaring problem faced by many who birth at home.

Across three home births, hot water was how we coped, and every time it failed us. The tub ran cold and family poured boiling water in behind Austen to keep her warm. Draining and refilling pulled us out of the moment. When our apartment water heater broke the very week our baby was due with no promise that it would be replaced in time, we decided it was time to build a true fix ourselves and for others.
